May 2010- Stewart is featured in Ben and the Magic Paintbrush, a World Premiere presentation of the South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, CA. www.scr.org.
April 2010- Stew agrees to appear in another Theater for Young Audiences production at the South Coast Repertory.
Feb-March 2010- Above the Line plays with sex, lies and videotape in a hilarious and sexy farce about the making of a Hollywood movie. Stewart joined an all-star L.A. cast in the comedy which takes a peek at the lying, cheating and stealing thats goes on during the production of a movie about the Boston Tea Party in Hollywood. -February 2010, the young people of southern California were captivated by the South Coast Repertory's production of A Wrinkle in Time. Stewart was seen as Charles Wallace Murry, the super-genius boy who, along with sister Meg, travel through time and space to rescue their missing father from the evil IT. A strong ensemble cast performed the John Glore adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's children's classic. Part of SCR's Theatre for Young Audiences 09/10 season. Shelley Butler directed.
-October, 2009- Danny, a short film starring Chad Hamblin and Stewart W. Calhoun was well received at its world premiere at the Hollywood Film Festival in October 2009. Danny is loosely based on the true story of two high school students in southern California who quickly become friends, until that friendship takes a tragic turn. Danny was also selected to screen at the 10th annual Santa Fe Film Festival in December 2009.
-Summer 2009- Stewart is featured in episode SEVEN of In2ition on take180.com. Episode 7 - Bring them home safe. Stewart will soon be featured in more upcoming episodes of In2ition! Stay 2ned!
-March 2009- Stewart was nominated for an LA Weekly Theatre Award for best supporting Actor for his role in How Cissy Grew. Susan Johnston won the award in the playwriting category. The LA Weekly Theatre Awards were held March 30th, 2009.
-Fall 2008-Stewart co-starred alongside Desperate Housewives star, James Denton in the world premiere of Susan Johnston's new play, How Cissy Grew at the El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, which will be published by Dramatists this year. Directed by Casey Stangl, the production ran October 18th through November 23, 2008. The cast also featured Erin J. O'Brien, and Liz Vital. How Cissy Grew, follows a baby girl named Cissy, who is abducted, then swiftly returned to her parents. The ramifications haunt her family for the next twenty years.
